You can call me "Bam Bam!"

Hello out there! Sorry I haven't checked in lately but I have been soooooo busy! I am crawling ALL over the place and I move lightening fast! Mom can barely keep up with me! I have recently discovered I LOVE to bang on everything. I have an actual drum that mom bought me, however, that keeps me interested for about 5 seconds. I would much rather bang and hit the windows, walls, the floor, entertainment center (oops I wasn't supposed to admit that!).  I also love to throw things, which seems to get mom all excited cuz she claps like a crazy woman when I do. I throw balls of course, but I also love to throw blocks, balls, bottles, oh and my spoon! (that actually gets her mad)
I have a little tooth and one still coming in, which is really annoying but I guess I need it. I am eating Cheerios all by myself, and I think I have developed an addiction to Puffs. Thanks ma....
All in all, things are pretty good. Ok, gotta go read/eat some books!
Peace

I am on the move, people!

Ok, still no teeth. Gotcha mom! I am, however, currently perfecting the "army crawl" and I can make it across the living room in 10 seconds flat. Things that get me moving... chasing Milo and trying to suck on his tags, anything shiny, toes, and mom's slippers. Yum! Since I have been more active, mom and dad have been frantically running around trying to "baby safe" the house.  I am not sure what that means except my crib is now MUCH lower and I am a bit traumatized. I am also getting over my first cold, which was horrible because Mom and Dad kept coming after me with this white snot sucker torture contraption. After sucking my brains out, mom would then squirt something UP my nose to help me breath better. HELLO, you try doing that to yourself and then you will know why I screamed bloody murder every time!
On a lighter note, I have started to try and feed myself. Mom is way too slow with the spoon and my hands are lightening quick, as seen in the video.
Thanks for checkin in, peace out peeps.

Here come the teeth!

So I guess as I get older something called "teething" is supposed to occur. As they have explained it to me, my little baby teeth slowly and painfully erupt through my soft, tender and vulnerable gums. Tell me again why I have to do this? So far I drool a lot and have to chew on EVERYTHING! I also get a little whiny, but wouldn't you? I guess in the long run it is a good thing so I can eat "adult food" but I could potentially live on pureed foods for the rest of my life just to avoid this traumatic serious of events that is about to occur. Did I mention it could take months?
Personally, I would rather focus my energy on learning to crawl, which I am starting to do thanks to my Yaya (did I mention she has been here taking care of me?) Mom has been sick-how dare she! But I know she has left me in good hands and I do not feel abandoned by her (saving me loads of money on therapy bills, thank you!) My gramma is pretty cool-she sings to me, rolls around on the floor, laughs when I blow bubbles, and yes, she even loves to change my diapers! WOW! I would like to send a shout out to Grampa Fredo for letting me have her for a few days. I am sure you miss her!
Ok, I am supposed to be napping and my little fingers are tired.
Peace out

Life is good!

Hey all! So life is pretty good here down here in C-U. I have been on this planet for almost 6 months! Holy cow! I can't believe I have been alive that long! I just went to the doctor today, which is never fun,  but we found out I weighed 15 pounds 9 ounces, and I am 27 inches tall!  I can sit up by myself for a few seconds before I topple over and mom freaks out. I spend my days rolling around on the floor, and I can now roll so fast mom can't catch up with me! (the other day I rolled myself right under the crib, which gave me and mom quite a scare).  I am enjoying various fruits and veggies, such as bananas, sweet potatoes and peas. You can only imagine the amazing colors, textures and smells of my poop-I love holding it in for a week and then BAM, I give mom a nice morning surprise! It's fun to be a baby! Oh, and I put EVERYTHING in my mouth, and I have this sneaking suspicion that some teeth are going to be coming soon. So enjoy this smile now cuz it may not last for long!
Happy Holidays!

Yummy in my tummy (and on my face!)

So, now that I am 4 months old, I guess its time I start figuring out this whole "eat from a spoon" crap. I hope they don't think I am going to stop visiting the milk bar whenever I please? It actually wasn't that bad, I got to try out this rice cereal and it tasted pretty good. Mom makes these funny noises trying to get me to eat, and I mostly get the stuff on my hands, face and bib, which also tastes very good I might add.  I guess eventually I will start to eat some other types of foods of various colors. Maybe Dad will try them out with me. Hah! (I heard he is a very picky eater). So far, I am a great eater, and I am growing up fast! (I can already fit into size 6 months clothes-whoa!) They tell me I am tall for my age, and my head still needs to catch up with my body, which I heard is unusual for the Thrall clan. Mom tells me I am perfect, so I won't lose any sleep over it. (mom might!)
Ok, back to shoving stuff in my mouth.
See ya soon!

She brought in the professionals......

So mom finally took me to get my pictures taken by some strange lady who kept trying to get me to smile. She was kinda cute, but ultimately mom was the only one who got me to giggle. Mom was so excited by all my great poses that she got suckered in to a very expensive package, so now we are going to have my pictures plastered all over the house. I swear if they made wallpaper out of my face she would buy it! I guess you can't fault her for adoring me so much.
So I have discovered I LOVE to suck on my hands. I drool a lot and usually end up drenching my clothes. Mom has been keeping me busy meeting lots of other babies; mom calls them "play dates" but usually we just stare at each other and poop in our diapers. I am generally pretty happy these days, and I have even started to giggle (that made mom cry too!) Ok, gotta go chew my fingers!
Peace out,

Tough day at the office

So lately I have been putting in some long days at the office.  I have been working very hard at getting big and strong. I love to stand up, with some help of course, but my legs do most of the work. I am starting to grab things and I can really hold on tight. Mom and I talk a lot during the day, mostly about politics and my world view (mom is kinda clueless about these things but Dad and I are trying to educate her).  Mom has also been keeping us very busy meeting other new moms and their babies. Oh, and I slept through the night a few times, but now I am back to my 4 am wake ups. Hah-fooled ya! My favorite new trick of the week is I can rotate myself around my crib, ending up on the other side and completely out of my swaddling blankets. That really freaked out Mom! She got me back by putting me in some funny looking green sleep sac that makes me look like Yoda.  Nice move,  Ma.  Ok, gotta run, the boss is waiting for me. Plus I found my thumb and it tastes so good!
Thanks for checkin in!
